Muhammad Ali Dies - Freedom Fighter or Racist?
Greatest or racist?
Muhammad Ali has died at the young age of 74.
He suffered from Parkinson's disease later in life.
He proclaimed himself as "The Greatest" and other people called him just that.
As a boxer he done all he needed to do.
But he is also known as a black man who helped to develop more rights for blacks to the position we are in now where equality prevails.
However, in his fight for more freedoms, he joined a black supremacist movement.
He changed his name from Cassius Clay and gave himself a Muslim name.
In other words, he totally unattached himself from anything to do with white people.
To go against his family which was just an ordinary black family living in America and end up attacking all that America stood for was wrong.
To join a black supremacist group which openly stated they want to obliterate the white race is no different to what we have today with ISIS.
You have ordinary Muslims that are being radicalised and joining ISIS that also want to attack western values.
Those that have turned to ISIS are criminals and are treated as such.
There is no difference between this and ALI.
There is no way that Ali was the "greatest" when he has a very poor history of racism.
How can anyone dare say that a racist was the "greatest".
As a sportsman he should have got the message he wanted to get over through his game and nothing else.
You may forgive someone for one wrongdoing but Ali continued with his "struggle" over a long period.
He could have apologised for his racist agenda and even entered politics which would have given him a much better platform.
There is a big difference between a freedom fighter and an out and out racist.
Watch his video on the Parkinson show but there are many others that show him for what he was.

Re: Muhammad Ali Dies - Freedom Fighter or Racist?
Trouble is you can have someone who is black talk like Muhammad Ali even to this day and they will get away with it.
Should a white man talk like this he could be put in prison.
Where is the equality in that?
Freedom fighter my eye.
Racist, yes!
Oh, and by the way, Ali wasn't the greatest by any means.
There are plenty of other sportsmen and women who could take that title who haven't got racist on their CV.

Racist who thought he was a slave and said he broke free.
Keep the bastards honest.
Re: Muhammad Ali Dies - Freedom Fighter or Racist?
I think Muhammad Ali or Cassius Clay as he was born might have done quite a bit for boxing but no way is he "the greatest".
Never heard so much bull in all my life

Re: Muhammad Ali Dies - Freedom Fighter or Racist?
Muhammad Ali was a freedom fighter but went about it in the most extreme way.
By joining an anti-white group proclaiming black power he went over the top.
There have been better people than him fight for rights without going that far.
