Yes the actor who starred in "On The Buses" has died.
Lewis was 88 so had a long successful life. His acting was very good and so funny. He was also in The Last Of The Summer Wine.
A great man who made his character his own. Who could ever forget inspector Blakey?

I used to love the TV show "On The Buses".
It was a show full of characters that we simply don't get nowadays including Steven Lewis as Inspector Blake.
Here is an episode of "On The Buses" possibly called "The New Nurse".
Blakey is obviously going to be seen to by her

Oh what a loss for British comedy.
Stephen Lewis played some extremely funny parts.
Good job his works will live on with TV shows such as On The Buses.
