Tumble Dryer Fires

Post by Zombie »

Tumble Dryer Fires

There were 6,000 fires caused by tumble dryers in the last 6 years
Some tumble dryers are known culprits and companies have set out to modify them but some have got appointments up to one year away.
The companies are saying use them and safety experts are saying don't!

The thing is that tumble dryers have been around for so long, how on earth can the designers get it all wrong now?

I like how there are different opinions as to whether you should actually use tumble dryers.
Safety experts say don't use the affected tumble dryers while the manufacturers say use them with conditions attached.

Well the manufacturers would say that wouldn't they!
Imagine a disabled person or an elderly person using them with their advice, and remember it was to make sure you were there when you use them.
Then imagine a fire breaking out.
What chance have they got?
Keep the bastards honest.
