Cigarettes Are No Longer Made In The UK

The last ever pack of cigarettes rolled off the production line in the UK.
Imperial Tobacco in Nottingham have moved their remaining interest to mainland Europe.
Smoking habits have changed and cigarette sales are still on the decline.
One time the factory produced 52 billion cigarettes a year and employed 7,000 workers.

Looks like the cigarette industry has finally felt the pinch.
Plain packaging, no smoking in public places and high duty are major factors.
Now you can't even see them in the shops.
How the world has changed.
