I have had a credit card from years ago but I never used it for the last 5 years or so.
It might be still active, I don't know.
Even if it was an active card I wouldn't use it anymore.
They don't write me any letters now ;)
I always paid back what I owed and always on time like a good little boy.
However, I have seen many people in my time who have mismanaged their credit cards and got into a lot of debt.
I felt sorry for them at the time and to be honest they seem to have recovered from that.
I think they have all learned their lessons in some way or another.
Nowadays, I wouldn't dream of using a credit card.
If I can't afford it I save up for it, that's my motto anyway.

May I just say that in all my time on this earth I have never had a credit card.
Don't ever apply for one either.
They will screw up your life.
I have seen it happen to others.

I had a credit card in my early days
Then I realised I would be paid interest to save up for what I need.
Nowadays my emphasis is on need because I have a good think whether I really need something before I go and get it.
Whatever it is!
