David Bowie has passed away in his sleep

Post by Jed »

David Bowie has passed away in his sleep

I woke up this morning to this news and I am still in shock.
Bowie died peacefully in his sleep after battling secretly with cancer for 18 months.
The BBC has been just showing this news all morning on their news channel.

I grey up listening to the music of David Bowie.
He actually influenced the world of music in so many ways.

Respect from me - RIP.

His best song in my opinion - David Bowie - Life On Mars?

David Bowie is a hero.
What a legend!
He has died at such a young age.
Bowie was one of those performers that you would have though would be with us for ever.
RIP

I love Space Oddity and here it is.

The death of David Bowie has been all over the news today and will be front page news in the morning.
Its been quite hard to absorb it all.
I quite like his early work but not the later stuff.

Here is David Bowie with Mick Jagger singing "Dancing in the Street - I love this one.

Another legend has left the building.
The famous people are dropping like flies now.
I guess the first and second generation performers are getting to the end of their lives.
I expect we will see more stars falling.
RIP.

I could hardly believe the news when I heard that David Bowie had passed away.
Mind you, there are loads of pictures of him smoking cigarettes.
Pure legend.

I am not surprised David Bowie died of cancer.
There are many images of him with a fag in his hand.
I understand the addiction to cigarettes and stuff but he would have known that smoking would shorten his life.
RIP.

I liked all of Davis Bowie's early works.
Many of Bowie's songs are pretty much timeless as well.
His death came as a shock but I guess that smoking has shortened his life.
Smokers take note!
RIP - David Bowie.
