Coffee is actually good for you
Here's an article which says that coffee doesn't cause heart palpitations and is a worthy drink to take at any time of day.
I love my coffee but I do take tea more often.
However, we were told that coffee was bad for us at one point.
They used to say it was better to avoid tea and coffee as it could lead to a racing heart and that could lead to heart failure.
Now the scientists say that a strong cup of coffee in the morning can give you a healthy boost.
They also say avoiding caffeine means people are not going to get the benefits of coffee and presumably tea.
This is another one of those examples of what we were told years ago that was bad for us is now good for us.
I never gave up my tea or coffee when the original information came out about the drug caffeine
Mind you, I am not happy at the amount of sugar I use - that is another story
